I don’t really do these kind of thing, but it’s time for me to make a change and for you guys to as well. A dear friend of mine named, Kevin McGuire, is suffering Leukemia once again. I’ve known him since we were both about 6 years old. Kevin was diagnosed with Leukemia in the 7th grade (when he was 13). “Kevin is an eighteen year old from Sterling High School in Somerdale, New Jersey. However, Kevin suffers from cancer, again. Kevin was first diagnosed with Leukemia when he was 13 years old and was in the seventh grade. He fought the battle of his life, undergoing years of chemo, digesting over 35 pills a night, hundreds of spinal taps, and numerous bone marrow screenings, and ultimately won the battle with cancer on April 24,2010. Kevin remained playing the sports he loved, and even started Sterling Varsity football as a freshman. Sadly, Kevin relapsed, and is now fighting for his life against this terrible disease for the second time in his short eighteen years of living. Kevin does not take his condition, and use it as an excuse or a sympathy plea to people. When people ask Kevin how he copes, he responds simply with, ‘how can I complain about my aches, pains, and side effects when there are children younger than me going through the same thing.’” (says Meghan). Kevin is the nicest kid you will ever meet. Always have been and always will be. He has so much support behind him and it will be gratefully appreciated if you all supported as well. He needs it. Especially since there are kids in our area who wish death upon him and thinks it’s funny he has cancer, that is not acceptable. It’s sad, but true. Never in my mind or any other mind’s would have thought that people could sit there and make fun of kevin, or kids with Cancer in general. It’s sickening to think that there are people out there.

Kevin is hoping to go to prom with Taylor Swift. We have been trying to get the word out via twitter and we’re hoping you guys will help too. Just tweet @taylorswift13 and wish that she will take kevin #teamkevin to prom this year. We need all the support we can get to make his dreams come true and please have him in your prayers. He doesn’t deserve this, no one does. Thank you for reading and I hope you reblog and pass this on.
